Teezily, fashion marketplace.

Teezily is a young French start-up in crowdfunding: an online T-shirt creation service that helps groups, associations and communities raise funds for a cause.

Creators focus on fundraising and communication while Teezily handles manufacturing and delivery, at prices 30 to 40% lower than other customisation sites.

What you design is what gets printed.

The designer is built in layers so a logo appears vivid and close to the real shirt. Customers choose a model, logo and image, and place them as they wish.

Orders often run from 1,000 to 10,000 T-shirts. Instead of visiting a shop or factory, customers can rest assured the printed shirt will match the design.

Confidence to order 10,000 shirts you have never seen.

Teezily’s customers are associations and communities raising money for a cause. They design a T-shirt online, then order 1,000 to 10,000 of them without visiting a shop or a factory. If the printed logo does not match what they saw on screen, the campaign loses money and trust.

The designer therefore had to show the logo and image exactly as they would print, at a price point 30 to 40% below other customisation sites.

A layered designer: what you design is what gets printed.

01

Specifying the designer with the start-up

A business analyst and a project manager defined the models, logo and image options and how customers place them, before the interface was designed.

02

Rendering in layers

The designer composes model, logo and image as separate layers, so the preview stays vivid and close to the real shirt as the customer moves elements around.

03

A lean front-end build

One web developer built the designer in Bootstrap, HTML and CSS, with a designer on the interface and a tester on the flow.

04

70 man-days, five people

The scope was delivered within the planned effort, suited to a young company’s budget.

Customers order with confidence.

Groups design, preview and order large batches knowing the printed shirt will match the design. Teezily handles manufacturing and delivery while creators focus on fundraising.
